The Jembayan mine is located in the East Kalimantan province and covers an area of over 120 square kilometers. The mine was acquired by Sakari Resources in December 2007. The estimated resources through exploration (JORC) is 604.00 million tons, of which 142.00 million tons belong to JORC, which is marketable. The mining area already has an infrastructure and production capacity of more than 12 million tons per year. There are multiple pits in the mine to produce low-moisture and low-sulfur sub-bituminous coal, which is transported to the company's port on the Mahakam River via a 26-kilometer highway.
